ZOO IN PHUKET

Phuket Zoo is a small private zoo located in Chalong Bay, Phuket, Kingdom of Thailand. The area of ​​the zoo in Phuket is about 5 hectares, on which quite a lot of animals live and daily shows are held with monkeys, crocodiles and elephants.

Phuket Zoo was opened to visitors in 1997. Its entire territory is buried in beautiful tropical greenery and flowers through which pretty paths are laid. Birds are widely represented in the zoo - numerous parrots, toucans, ostriches, peacocks, ducks, geese. For some birds on the territory there is a large aviary in which they can fly. And for waterfowl, there is a large pond. In addition to birds, large turtles swim in the pond.

A small oceanarium building was built for fish with an impressive entrance in the form of a crocodile's mouth. Inside it there are a couple of dozen aquariums with tropical fish, as well as frogs and crabs. In the same building there is a small terrarium in which chameleons, iguanas, snakes and other reptiles live. But koi carps live in a pond in an open area. The zoo also has a butterfly garden and orchid garden with a large collection of flowers
