Bang Pae Waterfall
The largest and most beautiful waterfall in Phuket. This is not just one waterfall. First you get to the largest, but upstream, a series of small, but very picturesque waterfalls
ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ
On the largest of them, water falls from 15 m. Near the foot there is a small lake where you can swim
ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ
The landscape attraction is located in the Khao Phra Thaeo nature reserve in the northeastern part of the island. Large hundred-meter waterfalls are located on the mainland, mainly in northern Thailand
ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ
The entrance fee to the conservation area is 200 baht for adults and 100 baht for children from 4 to 12 years old. At about 5 p.m. the ticket office closes and you can go for free
The waterfall looks especially beautiful in the rainy season, which lasts from May to October. The rest of the year, Bang Pe loses power, turning into a stream flowing over a steep cliff. The park also has a rehabilitation center for gibbons affected by poachers.

A path laid out of stones is laid to the waterfall. The road passes through the jungle with bamboo thickets. Many plants are endemic and relict. The rainforest mainly consists of fan palm trees and casuarines, similar to pines, but with soft horsetail needles. There are banyan trees

The landscape captivates travelers with pristine beauty without signs of civilization, forcing to recall the adventures of Mowgli or Indiana Jones. Lizards scurry in the grass, birds sing and frogs croak, motley butterflies fly in the air with a wingspan of 10-15 cm. Do not forget to bring repellents to protect against mosquitoes and wear comfortable shoes

There is another waterfall in Khao Phra Teo Park - Ton Sai Waterfall, the second largest after Bang Pe, with another access road leading to it. You can also walk on a trekking track with a length of about 3 km, but this option will require physical endurance. An entry ticket valid during the day entitles you to visit both natural sites
