Tourist visa to Thailand
The most complete and detailed information on visas to Thailand can be obtained on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. But most tourists do not have to delve into the intricacies of obtaining a visa, since Thailand with an ornate number of civilized states has a visa-free regime.
Russians can stay in Thailand for up to 30 days simply by receiving a stamp in their passport upon arrival. Recently, citizens of Ukraine also got the opportunity to be in the country without a visa, in connection with the introduction of a visa-free regime between these countries. It is more difficult for Belarusians: you need to get a visa in advance at the consulate of the Kingdom of Thailand in Moscow, because obtaining a visa upon arrival in Thailand is not possible.
If you want to stay longer, you can get a tourist visa for 60 days before visiting Thailand. To do this, you must obtain a visa at the Thai embassy or consulate in your country. When you arrive in Thailand, enter the visa number in your arrival card and the employee will put you a visa stamp for 60 days. You can extend this visa for another 30 days at the immigration office in Thailand for 1,900 baht, which will allow you to stay in the country for up to 90 days without leaving it. You can get a reusable tourist visa. It allows two or three 60 day visits. But between visits of 60 (or 30) days, you will be forced to leave Thailand and then re-enter the country.
