Artists Trail in Bali
The Ubud artist trail (Campuhan Ridge Walk Ubud) is also known as Champuang Hill (sometimes a ridge or ridge is mentioned instead of a hill). The Balinese themselves call it Bukit Gunung Lebah, which means "slope of a mountain bee." And among English-speaking tourists, the name Tjampuhan Sacred Hills, or the Sacred Hills in Ubud, is popular

The artists trail is located on the Champuan ridge near the center of Ubud. This is one of the most visited places in the city. Along the entire hill, a path paved with slabs runs along the top. The hill itself is located between two rivers - Champuan (Campuhan) and Vos (Wos).
The length of the trail is about 2 kilometers

The path of artists this place is called only Russian-speaking tourists. Foreigners do not use this name, they say - "Champuan ridge." The name comes from the Campuhan River, which means “meeting place of two rivers”

The Balinese believe that the two rivers flowing on the sides of the hill carry divine energy within themselves. Where they meet, the Pura Gunung Lebah Temple was built. In ancient times, the path of monks and pilgrims went to the shrine. Now the track is more used as a tourist route and a popular place for new photos

It is likely that it was on the artists' path that the young Balinese painters created their first paintings. Moreover, the places there are very beautiful. Artists, by the way, can be found here today!
