Health Track in Odessa

The modern generation, who spends most of their time at work in the office, at home in front of the TV screen or computer monitor, often lacks simple physical activity and fresh air. As a result, health problems begin. Therefore, recently all over the world the number of supporters of a healthy lifestyle and outdoor sports has been growing rapidly. In Odessa, for this there is a unique place called the Health Track.

The Health Track began its existence in 1960, after local authorities carried out global work to strengthen the shores and planted trees on the slopes. As a result of such activities, a track appears that connects the beaches of Arcadia and Langeron. The length is approximately 6 kilometers.

The health track is covered with asphalt, moreover, in such a way that most of the streets of Odessa would envy such coverage. It forbids the movement of all modes of transport, except those that are beneficial to health. They drive on the Health Track exclusively electric cars, with the goal of transporting people from Langeron to Arcadia and vice versa. In this place you can meet many fans of rollerblading, bicycles, both runners and people just enjoying a walk along the seashore.

Health track is improving right before our eyes! Spend new walkways, stairs, install new benches and lighting. The local population hopes that maintaining the pace of improvement will make it possible to turn the Health Route into a local attraction that will not be inferior to its foreign counterparts.
