For scuba diving it is not necessary to have physical training. In Phuket, during the dry season, the sea is calm and quiet. And scuba diving is also optional: to enjoy the beauty of the tropical sea, a mask and snorkel are enough. It’s even better: the exhaled air does not scare away the fish, but be sure to wear a T-shirt or cover your back with sunblock so as not to burn out in the sun.

The Andaman Sea is ideal for snorkelling. The water is clear, the average temperature is + 27-28 °, and the underwater world is very diverse. The best time for snorkeling in Phuket is from November to April, because in this season the sea is the most calm and safe.

In Phuket, you can snorkel at any beach. Long tourist beaches are less suitable for this, but small coves with a small number of tourists will be the best solution.

On almost all the beaches of the island you can rent a snorkelling mask and explore the best places on your own. Another way is to buy a tour and go on a trip in a motor boat.

If you decide to organize everything yourself, you will not be able to avoid expenses, but the savings will be decent.
