Windmill Observation Deck in Phuket

The Windmill Viewpoint has been successfully located in the southern part of Phuket Island, near which the Promthep Alternative Energy Station, which does not make harmful emissions into the environment, operates near the alternative electricity station. Climbing to the top, you will see a beautiful panorama of the miniature island of Koh Man, the beaches of Nai Harn and Yanui

This place is much different from the observation deck on Promtep Cape - there are usually very few tourists here, so it’s quite calm and quiet, and if you go a little away, it will be difficult to immerse yourself in fantastic views

On the observation deck there are budget cafes with fast food and gazebo in the style of a gazebo for relaxation, a small stall with fruits and vegetables, drinks and snacks. Nearby there is a small parking

As we already said, the observation deck is located in the south of the island between the beaches of Yanui and Nai Harn. All of them are connected between a self-winding and narrow road without a sidewalk for backpackers, therefore we do not recommend moving along this road without transport. In order to get to the Windmill, a motorbike is perfect. Also on the beaches you can take a tuk-tuk taxi. The price varies, but on average it is 200 THB / 6 USD
It is possible to combine a trip to a nearby beach and make a short stop along the way. Knock-knock taxi drivers agree for the same 200 THB
