Karon is calmer than its noisy neighbor, but there are quite a lot of tourist attractions here. Therefore, Karon is a very good place both as the main base for beach holidays and for a short stop on the island.

Kata Beach
A long sandy beautiful beach, is considered the second most popular in Phuket. The beach has excellent infrastructure - sunbeds, bars, restaurants, water activities. Kata beach is also popular among beginner surfers, as there are good conditions for both training and practice.
