Autumn on Phuket, the weather

Today we will tell you a little about what kind of weather prevails on the tropical island of Phuket in the fall. Planning your vacation for the fall and you are considering a vacation to Phuket for this time? This choice is relatively good, despite the weather drops in these months. Every month the weather is different in its autumn, for example, almost the whole of September falls under the rainy season, but even though it is called that, the rain will not always be a wall and the air temperature will still remain quite high, despite the high level of humidity. November is basically the opposite of September, that is, almost all the time is very dry and quite hot, especially from morning till noon. October is a kind of transitional period, when the September weather smoothly shimmers in November.

September in Phuket

If you decide to rush to Phuket in the fall and, for example, in September, assuming that you are in a period of good weather and the absence of a large number of tourists, then you may be a little disappointed. To spoil all your expectations, if of course you have never been to Phuket before and are not aware of the features of the seasons, then you risk to find yourself on the island at the very peak of the rainy season. There has long been such a tendency that it is in September that the largest amount of precipitation falls in a year. No, there is no snow on Phuket, Thailand, but there are very heavy rains. It does not rain very often, but when it does, it floods everything you can with a wall, even an umbrella will not help. When there is no rain, the atmosphere is cloudy and the sky is almost constantly covered with gray clouds, and the air is very humid and heavy. A huge plus of this season is low prices. During the rainy season, the island has a so-called low season, when prices for everything are significantly reduced, including housing rental in Phuket. For example, renting a villa in Phuket for a month can cost 2, 3, or even 4 times cheaper than in peak or high season. Clear and warm days still happen, usually every 2-3 days, so Phuket can be considered as a budget trip for a given period of time.

October in Phuket

As we said at the beginning of the article, October is a kind of transitional period between rains and dryness. During this period, the direction of the winds changes significantly, which leads to a change in weather conditions. By the onset of October, torrential rains occur less and less often, and by the beginning of November they cease to make themselves felt. In October, from morning to late dinner, the weather is hot, around +30 degrees and only in the evening begins to fall to +25. Rains of course occur in mid-autumn, but much less frequently than at the beginning of the season. Prices for housing and services still remain at a low level, although they show signs of slight growth, so October is even better than September.

November in Phuket

On the last month of autumn, the beginning of the high season falls, when prices for everything grow noticeably. November rains almost do not occur, and strong winds stop. The weather is getting quite hot and dry, and the temperature below +30 degrees does not occur, except at night. The price increase continues until January.
