Cinemas in Phuket

Phuket has three multiplex cinemas.

SFX Cinema is a 7-screen multiplex with a focus on Western cinema. It is located on the third floor of the Central Festival Shopping Complex in Phuket City. Mostly Hollywood bestsellers in English with Thai subtitles are shown here. Thai films are shown with English subtitles, respectively. Standard seats cost between 80 and 120 baht. Soft seats in the form of sofas for two people cost 300 baht. There are also VIP seats: sofas for two with drinks and snacks, 500 baht.

In October 2007, a new shopping complex with a cinema - Jung Ceylon opened in Patong. This multiplex is mainly aimed at tourists, so films with an English soundtrack are often shown here. Seats around 120 baht.

The Ocean Plaza complex in Phuket has a Paradise Multiplex. There are not many films in English or with English subtitles in this cinema. Good seats from 80 baht.

Cinemas in Phuket are perfect for those who want to unwind from solitude with nature, shelter from the rain or simply cannot live without watching the latest cinema. Despite the fact that there are not so many of them, they are very popular and, accordingly, are developing.

The most important thing is to stay vigilant and not leave your belongings unattended in crowded places.
